Position Overview

As an IT Technician, you’ll provide first-line technical support for our clients and internal teams. This is a hands-on role that will expose you to a broad range of technologies and real-world troubleshooting scenarios. You’ll work closely with experienced IT professionals and have the opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive, fast-paced environment. You will be working from home, in our office, and from client locations throughout the week. So, flexibility is very important.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide basic technical support for hardware, software, and network issues

  • Assist with setup and deployment of desktops, laptops, printers, and other devices

  • Troubleshoot and resolve user issues via phone, email, and in-person

  • Document support activities in the helpdesk ticketing system

  • Assist in maintaining and updating inventory and asset tracking

  • Support routine IT maintenance tasks (e.g., updates, patches, backups)

  • Escalate more complex problems to senior technicians or engineers

  • Will travel 60% to 80% of the time between client locations within Northwest Indiana and Chicagoland

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s Degree

  • IT certifications in CompTIA A+, Network+ preferred

  • Sophos Firewall Certified Engineer Certification (required to obtain within six months of employment)

  • Advanced understanding of Windows and Apple operating systems, Microsoft Office, and general networking concepts

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills

  • Willingness to learn and grow in a team-oriented environment

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

  • Valid driver’s license is required

Position Overview

PTG is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about uncovering new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, generating qualified leads, and working with our IT Team to onboard new customers. This role is focused on identifying prospects, initiating meaningful conversations, and positioning our solutions to address client challenges. A successful candidate will have strong communication skills, a consultative approach, and a desire to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Navigate qualified leads through the sales pipeline, seamlessly connecting them with your dedicated Account Executive and orchestrating introductory meetings
  • Develop relationships with new prospects through strategic phone calls, targeted emails, and the utilization of cutting-edge sales sequencing tools
  • Achieve monthly targets by setting up 20+ completed and qualified sales meetings each month
  • Proactively make 150+ dials a day
  • Ability to understand and articulate executive-level business goals and challenges
  • Develop and consistently maintain strong relationships by timely, relevant, and consistent follow-up communications
  • Maintain clean, accurate, and up-to-date records in the CRM system by logging all activity and scheduling timely follow-ups

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in sales, lead generation, or a related role (tech sector is preferred)
  • Prior experience with outbound cold calling
  • Strong understanding of IT, cybersecurity, digital transformation, and related technology solutions, or a willingness to learn quickly 
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage prospects and articulate value propositions effectively.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset, capable of working in a fast-paced environment and meeting or exceeding lead generation targets
